Tribal Police Dept. Judicial Building

The mission of the LDF Tribal Police Department is to work collaboratively with other agencies and programs. The department utilizes community-policing strategies to help create a community that is safer for people to live, work and visit and diligently investigates crime. Their goal is to establish community trust by becoming more proactive rather than being reactive in services to community members. By creating a partnership with community members, the department is able to combat drug violations, gang influences and violent behaviors. This partnership also helps give a voice to victims who are looking for a more responsive system of justice.
