The museum is a well-known attraction in the Midwest offering exhibits pertaining to the Ojibwa history and culture. Among the exhibits are the world-record sturgeon (7 ft.), a 200-year-old dugout canoe, a four-season diorama timeline, and artifacts from the Lac du Flambeau Tribe, birch bark canoes, and over 5,000 historic photos.
