A New Journey

For those with an Opioid Use Disorder (OUD) the journey to better health and a new life can be found through treatment and ongoing recovery. It is not an easy path to navigate. Withdrawal from opioids is not easy. Self-discovery is not always easy. Those who complete the journey know the importance of self-discovery; finding awareness, maintaining connections, building strength, develop skill and collecting knowledge. For those on the journey find and build a strong support system. For those who have a family member or someone they care about and/or love be there for them.

There are so many factors that often affect each individual’s healing and the direction of their path. Each person’s genetics are different, their life experience, their mental health and all plays a role.
