WiidookodaadiwinOjibwe for ‘To Help One Another’

LDF Wellness has worked with subject matter experts to develop effective, evidence-informed adult training courses and programs addressing the opioid crisis and addiction / substance use disorder. Available for individual learning and continuing education or as programs delivered within local communities.

What We Do

Education & Training

Developed specifically for First Responders, this course will provide a understanding of the opioid public health crisis. You will learn how to recognize the signs of an opioid overdose and how to administer the opioid overdose reversal drug Naloxone (brand name NARCAN).

Path to Recovery

There is no right or wrong way to choose recovery; everyone is traveling on a different journey to the same end result: finding a path that creates a happier life. Paths to recovery, include (but are not limited to): step-based recovery, culturally-specific paths to recovery, and clinical treatment

Alternative Healing Methods

Pain management varies by individual depending on the type of pain and what is causing the pain. Various alternatives for treatment include physical, psychological and rehabilitation therapies, and may include non-addictive alternative medications.
